How to Print and Assemble your PDF Pattern

Printing and assembling PDF sewing patterns doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. In this video, I walk you through the full process step by step — from opening your pattern files and choosing the right print settings, to lining up pages and taping them together accurately.

Before sure to check below the video in case I've added some extra notes that I missed in the video.

If you’ve ever opened a PDF pattern and thought “where do I even start?” — this one’s for you.

Added Notes on Printer Settings:

Based on the browser/window you are using to open your PDF file - your printer settings may differ in look. For example in the video I was using Google Chrome (Internet Browser) to open my PDF file, which led my printer settings to look as they were.

However if I was to open the file in Microsoft Edge (Internet Browser) or Adobe Acrobat (application software) the printer settings would look slightly different.

When you've reached printer settings: I recommend first looking for "Page Size" and/or "Page Scale" options. If you cannot find them, you're most likely have an option that says "More settings" or "Printer Preferences" where you might find your Page Scaling options.
