Handcrafted Seam Ripper Made from Reclaimed Wood (With Lid)

This is our third batch of eco-friendly, reclaimed wooden seam rippers — now with protective lids.
Thoughtfully made, beautifully finished, and designed to last for years of sewing (and unpicking).

Each seam ripper is handcrafted in a small workshop using locally reclaimed wood, turning discarded timber into a practical tool you’ll reach for again and again.

Why This Seam Ripper Is Eco-Friendly

    • Made using reclaimed wood sourced from a local business

    • Keeps valuable materials in use and out of landfill

    • Finished with vegan wax to protect and preserve the wood naturally

    • No mass production, no plastic handles, no unnecessary waste

Trees are a renewable natural resource when harvested responsibly — but we go one step further by reusing existing wood, keeping the recycling loop going and reducing demand for newly cut timber.

Handmade — Every One Is Unique

Each seam ripper is individually handmade, not factory produced.
    That means:

    • Approx. 12cm handle length (may vary slightly)

    • Subtle differences in grain, tone, and shape

    • Small imperfections that make each piece one-of-a-kind

These aren’t flaws — they’re part of the charm, and proof that your tool was made by hand, not by machine.

A Seam Ripper with a Story

Each seam ripper is handmade by Terry in his workshop, using reclaimed wood and finished by hand. No mass production, no shortcuts — just thoughtful craftsmanship, sustainability, and a tool you’ll reach for again and again.
