PDF Sewing Pattern

The Rivelin Ruffle Dress is a sleeveless dress with a lined and fitted bodice, a tiered gathered skirt and an invisible zip down the side. Its versatile design features include three lengths of dress, optional shoulder and neck ruffles and two different neckline heights. In total, there are 24 possible combinations; from a simple day dress to a glamorous evening garment.

What Fabrics to Use→

We suggest using light to medium weight woven fabrics with drape to help accent the gathers and create an elegant floaty dress. We recommend using cotton lawn, linen, ramie, viscose, rayon, Tencel, georgette, chiffon, challis, double gauze, or crepe de chine. The bodice is lined, so either choose a fabric which is lighter than your main fabric for this, or simply cut the lining out of your main fabric.

What's Inside this Sewing Pattern?→

The pack will contain three pdf files: 1. Pattern pieces on A0 sheets → for copy shop printing. 2. Pattern pieces on A4 sheets → for home printing. 3. Instruction booklet. The pattern piece sheets are layered to enable you to print only the size(s) you require (depending if you need to grade between multiple sizes). This feature has been designed for use with Adobe Reader, which you can download for free. The instruction booklet contains instructions on how to print the A4 pattern at home. Alternatively you may wish to use an online / high street copy shop to print out the A0 sheets to save you time sticking them together.
