    Leini is a charming sleeveless mini dress sewing pattern with two wide, slanted pleats running from the shoulders to the waist. It has a relaxed fit and an elasticated waist. The armscyes and the round neckline are finished with a facing.

    Fabric suggestions

    Choose a light to medium weight woven fabric. Depending on the desired result, you can select a low-drape fabric, or a fabric with a little drape. However, avoid a very light or drapey fabric, as it will affect the look of the pleats.

    • Sizes 32–46: 2 cm (3/4") elastic, your waist circumference
    • Sizes 48–56: 3 cm (1 1/8") elastic, your waist circumference
