The Sewing Pattern  Collage Gather Top This Pattern is Beginner-Friendly Sewing Pattern, apart from a small amount of gathering and a bias tape neckline, this pattern is simple and easy to follow.

🌱 Sustainable Fabric: Crafted with care, we chose only the best fabric for this project. From Roo-Tid Fabrics, this kit contains one of their beautiful designs made with ECOVERO Viscose Twill. A fully biodegradable fabric, the best for you and the planet.

🏷️ Sewing Label Pack: Add a personal touch to your creations with a Sewing Label. OOOPS! We've had to swap out the Sew Anonymous Sewing Label to a Sarah Hearts Sewing Label. We ran out of the original sewing label that was photographed with this kit - You'll receive a 'Just Sew Happy' Sewing Label instead.

🧵 Matching Sewing Thread: Best Matched Thread, a Gütermann rPET thread will be included.

At this time, we're a growing start-up fabric store and currently do not stock Machine Needles. We recommend getting a new machine needle before you start.

It's recommended to change your machine needle after every sewing project. For this project we'd recommend switching your needle out for a new Sharp Needle (70/10) or an Extra Sharp Ballpoint Needle (75/11).

The type of fabric within this kit is an Eco-Viscose Twill, the design is printed onto the fabric so you may find will duller/less sharp needles, you'll see small holes in the design due to it cutting through the print.

Less-Waste Sizing Options:

Our Sewing Project Kit comes in three size categories. We've done this to send you a more precise measurement of fabric, in order to minimize the amount of fabric waste.

If you're in between sizes, we'd recommend sizing up, just in case you require a little extra fabric. 

We have allowed extra fabric for the View B on this Sewing Pattern. If sewing other views or smallest sizes within XXS-XL, you may find you'll have fabric remaining.

As this Sewing Pattern is of a Collage nature, and the fabrics are boldly wild, we've not tested for pattern matching. If you wish to pattern match your front panel with the shoulder panels, please test your pattern pieces onto the fabric before cutting.

The fabric within each size you'll be sent is as follows:

XXS-L = 2 metres

XL-3XL = 2.5 metres

4XL-6XL = 3 Metres

This is why there will be a slight price change between sizes to allow for the additional fabric required.

Modal Sizing & Recommendations

The size worn by Rosie is a Small.

Rosie's chest measurements are 37" and would have sewn a Medium if following those body measurements.

For a closer fit, a smaller size was chosen. Adjustments to the front and back panel center fold have been made, 1/2" has been removed. This has resulted in the top fitting closer to the body and around the shoulders.

Rosie is 175cm tall. 1 inch was added to the front, back and side panels for a longer fit. 

It is recommended to sew up a wearable toile first, so that you can make any adjustments needed or to simply, find a preferable fit. Always take in consideration the fabric being used, and the final garment measurements in the size chart to account for pattern ease and oversized fits.
